Bronze SRC



2016 / 2017


The Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) and Bronze Medallion program allows participants to gain valuable lifesaving and personal development skills, allowing them to become part of the proud and professional team of surf lifesavers helping keep Apollo Bay's beaches safe.

Bronze Camp:

This year we are runing a residential Bronze Camp, from Sun 10 December (4pm check-in) to Fri 15 December, with assessment on Sat 16th December. The Bronze candidates will be staying at the ABSLSC Clubhouse, with 24hr adult (male and female) supervision. This camp is geared towards those younger members aged 15 and 16 - Bronze applicants must have turned 15 by 11 December 2016.

We can only accept a maximum of 10 male and 10 female applications, due to accomodation space.

Adult Bronze:

We are also offering an accomodatinting 5 weekend Bronze Medallion course, with the aim of getting more adults to be involved in volunteer patrols and water safety. We are also looking for members prepared to take on leadership and mentoring roles to assist developing youth. If you are interested in having fun, learning some new skills and giving something back to the community of Apollo Bay, this is the course for you!
